Exiting Ineffective Teachers Policy
Florida requires local districts to place teachers who receive an unsatisfactory evaluation on an improvement plan. If a teacher does not successfully correct the identified deficiencies, he or she is formally eligible for dismissal at the district superintendent's discretion.
