With the first deadline for federal Race to the Top (RTT) proposals rapidly approaching, NCTQ has released a SCORECARD that will let any state assess how competitive it is likely to be for a piece of the $4.35 billion pie.

NCTQ developed the scorecard based on the advice provided to a number of states on what's likely to be needed to turn in a top-notch proposal. The quick, simple scorecard focuses on the "Great Teacher and Leaders" section of the RTT application, which, given the way that the Department has allocated the points, will clearly make or break a state's chances.
